Professional cyclist & Gravel World Champion
Joan Horrach Ripoll is a Spanish cyclist born on March 27, 1974 in the Majorcan village of Deià (Mallorca, Spain).
He turned professional in 2000 with the Portuguese team Milaneza-Maia and built a career across Grand Tours and stage races.
His landmark win came on stage 12 of the 2006 Giro d’Italia (Livorno–Sestri Levante): after a break of sixteen riders, he attacked alone and won by five seconds, with the pelotón finishing more than seven minutes later.
Today he guides riders across Mallorca’s coast and Tramuntana roads with Liveablock — local knowledge shaped by a life in the pelotón.
